Hello,

I am going to be starting the iron finger training this week and was wondering about using pebbles in a bucket to slowly build up the bone structure. Anyone have specifics regarding this aspect of iron finger training?

Well, from my experiences unless your over 250 lbs or in your 30's you should be able to start using 10 fingers... or at least on your ankles/knees - girly push up style getting used to the new kind of conditioning, just think baby steps and try not to get hurt by doing to much to soon.

Thanks mojo lolo for the info. I am not quite worried about the push ups but I am interested in the other aspects of building the fingers besides push ups. I know that Shaolin monks used to push pebbles and then rocks with their finger tips to slowly and safely build up the bone density as well as toughen the skin. This takes years from what I can tell but there are no instructions or advise on the practical side of doing this. Thanks...

Do you know of any text or video material out there for this? Any help to point me in the right direction would be awesome!

Thanks

I should clarify... any "other" resources that have more detail like a book or "how to" video...?

Thanks,

MF
